Profile Blades:
	Profile blades act as both a cutting blade just below the surface and a leveling blade. 100% of the profile of the infield skin is consistently leveled and loosened on every pass. This eliminates ridging that causes an erratic playing surface known to cause injuries. 100% smooth playing surface; guaranteed! Another amazing benefit of these blades is the ability to slice the root systems of weeds and grass to completely eliminate this growth from infields.
Electric Actuator:
	This industrial grade actuator has a mammoth 2,000 lb. lift capacity. This is far more than our competition. Why? Because our tools are designed to be as aggressive as the job requires. This actuator lifts the Infield Rascal for transport and lowers to adjust the amount of pressure the profile blades or rippers and rake have on the ground. Includes all hardware needed to attach to a 12v battery. (hook up to the vehicle battery requires hard wiring by a qualified professional)
Drag Mat: (Optional)
	The heavy duty commercial grade drag mat mounts behind the Infield Rascal and resets the infield skin ready for play. There are no rivets to pop out and ruin the entire mat. The ends are even clinched 6 gauge steel for extreme durability.
Gauge/Transport Wheels
	These are real wheels with replaceable Volkswagen hubs, axles, and bearings so the operator can take the tool wherever work must be done. The wheels control the depth of the loosening action to create consistent level travel. They also enable easy turning and direction change and aid in the grading process by lifting the tool to drop material where the operator desires.
Pivoting Finish/Grading Rake
	The back rake serves three purposes. First, it pulverizes and breaks up clumps of material. Second, it pivots vertically to grade and move large amounts of material with ease. It even acts as a rake to pull off loose vegetation and debris. Third, the rake provides a beautiful signature finish. It is constructed of 1/2" hardened steel for long life and is replaceable in 1' sections.
Adjustable Ripping Teeth
	The ripping teeth temporarily replace the profile blades to loosen hard pan. They are adjustable from 0" - 7" to get to the bottom of the most demanding jobs The bolt on tips are replaceable for reduced maintenance cost. The rippers also enable the Infield Rascal to be used to maintain gravel road and parking lots and many other demanding jobs!
Drop Pin Hitch
	The Infield Rascal is equipped with a drop pin hitch for easy and fast connection to many tow vehicles. The most common vehicle used to tow an Infield Rascal is an ATV (Gator). The operator may easily add a 2" ball hitch to the bar if desired.

Multiple Applications

The Infield Rascal™ is the only baseball / softball infield groomer that has the versatility to perform multiple applications. You can use the Rascal to groom the infield, the warning track and then a gravel parking lot or driveway. Use the Infield Rascal for Infield Grooming, Infield Restoration, Warning Track Maintenance, Soft Surface Walking Path Maintenance, Gravel Parking Lot and Driveway Maintenance.

Weed and Grass Removal

While many companies claim their equipment removes weeds and grass, only the Infield Rascal™ has the ability to ‘cut’ weeds and grass off at the roots. All other tools use only short small scarifiers to try to dig out the vegetation with little or no success. Because the Rascal gets to the vegetation at the root level, your vegetation is eliminated, not just covered up. The removal of vegetation also includes edges (lips) that grow into the infield playing surface or become higher than the infield surface. The patented Profile Blades allow you to cut under the edge so that it can quickly and easily be removed. This is especially important if you have dirt base paths that tend to gully or wallow out. The Rascal will cut down the high spots and move the material into the low spots. Then our Heavy Duty Drag Mat resets that material so it is ready to play on immediately.

Bump and Ridge Removal

All other infield groomer work from the top down. The Infield Rascal™ works from the bottom up. The base underneath you top dressing is as important as the top finish. If you do not eliminate the bumps and ridges from players, grooming and even weather, you will always have problems with bad hops and bad footing. The patented Profile Blades on the Infield Rascal™ literally cut off the bumps and ridges and provide you with a very smooth base to play on. No other tool, other than our patented TR3 three point ball diamond groomer has this feature.

Electric Grade Control

When you need to add top dressing or even more clay to your infield, the Infield Rascal™ will move the material around the infield until it is level. The Pivoted Finish Rake/Comb can be set to move large amounts of infield mix or dirt to the spots where it needs to be deposited. The Electric Actuator allows the operator to drop the material where it is needed without ever stopping.

Effective Scarifying

Almost all baseball & softball infield grooming equipment have scarifiers. Only the Infield Rascal™ has scarifiers that are adjustable from 0-6 inch depth and are 1 3/8 inches wide so they really loosen the infield material. All other infield groomer's have scarifiers that effectively scarify at a depth of no more than 1 ½ inches because they are not long enough and they only are ¼ to ½ inch wide. In addition, the weight and design of the Infield Rascal causes the scarifiers to go into the material. The average weight of the Rascal is 400 pounds. And that weight combined with operator selectable scarifier angle means that the tool will do the job every time.

Not Vehicle Dependent

Many baseball & softball infield groomers are dependent upon the vehicle that is used. Some are totally self-contained and others require permanent attachments to the vehicle. The most common mechanical problems are not with the grooming portion of the equipment, but rather with the engine and transmission of the vehicle that is used to pull or power the grooming equipment. The Infield Rascal™ is totally independent as long as the replacement vehicle meets minimum power requirements. The Rascal can be pulled with all sorts of vehicles including Gators, ATV’s, tractors and even pickups. This independence enables you to use most any tow vehicle to get the job done with no down time. Breaks down will no longer slow you down!

Lower Maintenance Costs

The Infield Rascal™ has the lowest cost of maintenance of any infield groomer on the market. The scarifiers have bolt-on replacement tips, a sectioned bolt-on finish rake and replaceable profile blades. Current studies show that tips need only to be replaced annually*, the finish rake every two to three years* and the blades every two to three years*. Annual maintenance* is estimated at less than $10 per month and depending on use may be as low as $5 per month. *Information based upon maintenance costs of Chicago Parks District.
